Size guide
Choose the Width of Your Curtain
💡 Due to their acoustic properties, our curtains slightly fold in on themselves once hung.
For example, a curtain with a width of 150 cm is designed to cover between 66 and 87 cm once hung.
Therefore, it is important to rely on the “Made to cover” note when selecting the width of your curtain.
For example, to cover 100 cm, choose a width of 200 cm. To cover 300 cm, it is ideal to opt for 2 curtains of 300 cm each.
Choose the drop of Your Curtain
💡 Sound Escape offers customization of your curtain height to the exact centimeter.
Here’s how to find the curtain drop you need:
- If your window or door reaches the floor, ensure that the height you choose allows the curtains to reach the floor, measuring from the top of your rod or from the hooks of your track.
- If your window does not reach the floor, we recommend adding an additional 20 to 30 centimeters so that part of the area below the window is covered. This will result in better noise reduction.
